Fall Intern
Responsibilities:
Membership & Community Engagement
- Assist in membership acquisition and retention activities.
- Help prepare membership packets and materials.
- Support communication with members and respond to inquiries.
- Assist in organizing and attending ribbon cuttings, Business After Hours, and other networking events.
Marketing & Communications
- Support the creation and posting of social media content.
- Assist with website updates and e-blasts.
- Help design and edit promotional materials, signage, and presentations.
- Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and member engagement strategies.
Event Support
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of Chamber events.
- Support logistics such as setup, registration, volunteer coordination, and post-event follow-up.
- Collect photos, feedback, and content from events for marketing purposes.
Administrative & Office Support
- Help maintain and update the membership database.
- Assist with tracking sponsorships, invoices, and dues.
- Support filing, record-keeping, and general office tasks.
- Provide assistance with volunteer coordination as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Canva, QuickBooks, or website management is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects.
- Comfortable with public interaction and professional settings.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for Chamber events.
